  1. The DIVER ZONE consists of:
    a. A DIVING PIT (depth 3 m - 10 Ft)
    b. A HIGH PLATFORM
    c. A SWIMMING POOL (depth 1.5 m - 5 Ft)
    d. TANKS for equipment cleaning (under the stairs)
    e. A DRYER for drying equipment
    f. A SHOWER
    g. The BLUE MYSTIC DIVERS OFFICE, including a CLASSROOM, BATHROOMS, STORAGE ROOM, etc.
  2. Access to the DIVER ZONE is only allowed in the presence of the BMD representative or their authorized personnel.
  3. The DIVER ZONE is exclusively for training, introductory dives, or reactivation of divers or freedivers (certified or in training), fully respecting PADI standards.
  4. External DIVING CLUBS may access the DIVER ZONE for a limited time after paying the access fee and signing the “DIVER ZONE USAGE CONTRACT” with BMD. By doing so, they accept the following conditions:
    a. It is not allowed to climb up or down the stairs to the DIVING PIT while equipped. Divers must gear up and remove their equipment on the platform. When using the SWIMMING POOL, divers must gear up and remove their equipment in the water.
    b. Air tanks must be carried by hand when moving them up or down from the DIVING PIT PLATFORM.
    c. Air tanks must always have a protective cover on their bottom part.
    d. Entry into the water in the DIVING PIT must be done using the giant stride technique, ensuring that the pit’s edge is not hit.
    e. The DIVING PIT is exclusively for divers or freedivers; the SWIMMING POOL area is shared with CASCADA MAYA B&B guests.
    f. Divers must exit the water 5 minutes before the end of their allocated time to allow the next group to enter on time.
    g. Exiting the water from the DIVING PIT must be done using the ladder. If equipment needs to be lifted separately, the BCD must be used as protection to avoid damaging the wall with the tanks.
  5. Any damage caused to the equipment provided in the DIVER ZONE will be charged to the CLUB. Failure to pay for damages will result in denial of future access.
  6. Diving headfirst is strictly prohibited, as it is extremely dangerous.
  7. Smoking, eating, or drinking near or inside the DIVING PIT and the SWIMMING POOL is not allowed.
  8. Glass cups or bottles are not allowed in the DIVING PIT and SWIMMING POOL areas.
  9. Operating hours: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
